Assembler Support and General Labor WinTec Arrowmaker Inc. | Tampa, Florida 33611 Entry Level (less than 2 yrs experience) Unspecified Secret Aerospace and Aviation Aerospace and Aviation No Traveling SUMMARY: WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor dedicated to providing outstanding program management, engineering, logistics, and operations support to Department of Defense customers. The Assembler Support will work under the direction of WinTec Arrowmaker’s Fabrications Manager and is responsible for "full supporting efforts” on launchers and launcher parts. The Assembler Support supports the interpreting of product blueprints and handling of various tools. Assembler Support should be a people person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ability to listen and follow technical instructions
Ability to use hand tools for assembly
Support production, maintenance and restoration of parts and pieces of launchers and materials
Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
Support with determining the number of parts and components required for production and serve as a quality checker for finished products
Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
Test finished products for defects
Maintain the tools used to create products
Follow company procedures and directives
Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
Janitorial duties include: sweeping, moping, vacuuming, and scraping
During WinTec hosted front office visits from time to time will serve as receptionist
Additionally, this individual could perform special projects of an urgent and sensitive nature and have other duties as assigned
LOCATION: This is a full-time position located in Tampa, FL
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/GED equivalent
Certificate or an associate degree from a technical training institute is desirable
Preferably, 1-2 years’ experience in a technical environment
Understanding of parts assembling
Possess critical thinking ability
Detail-oriented and meticulous in the execution of tasks
Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, ordering, inventory management and form filing
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Self-starter, with a positive attitude, attention to detail, time-management, and follow through on
projects to completion
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, customer service
Effectively understand and communicate orally, in writing, and interpersonally with customers
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to lift and operate machinery
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Willingness to work in flexible shifts
Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy machinery
SECURITY CLEARANCE: *Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance*
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Secret Level Clearance is required
