Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is actively seeking an experienced IT Professional to fill a role that requires a broad array of knowledge and skills working with team members to support a Cyber Security program in Tampa, FL.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment. The primary team is located in Tampa, Florida with distributed team members embedded directly with the customer.
Responsibilities are in more than one of the following information systems and/or related areas: personal computer applications training, data control and scheduling coordination, systems administration, data security administration, and associated fields.
Job Responsibilities:
• Will independently coordinate, audit, and participate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes and meetings.  This requires infrequent Continental United States (CONUS) travel requiring direct coordination with Program Manager (PM) on budgetary constraints and limitations
• Assist Configuration Control Board, coordinate change requests, and validate documentation and software/hardware changes to verify compliance with Configuration Management Plans (CMP)
• Frequent collaboration with internal company and exerternal contacts for quality check inspections and create and maintain documentation. Represents organization on specific projects and tracking metrics. May make presentations to small groups
• Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Facilitate, conduct and document quarterly audits, system baseline reviews, release planning and scheduling program protection, critical analysis reviews.
• Review and understand technical and programmatic documentaition for accurancy, implementation and completeness
• Work with cross-discipline team members and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation experience and the ability to work with a diverse community of engineers and managers to achieve the goals of the program team.
• Serve as a central point of general information for projects to interface and communicate information to a vast audience
• Facilitate regular Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives and Quarterly Releases while mentoring Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders
• Assist with product backlog refinement and scheduling
Basic Qualifications:
• US Citizenship is required with an active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance which was active in the last 24 months
• Must possess or be able to obtain DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher within two (2) months of starting
• posses 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters / an additional Four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of college
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in development of engineering processes and documentation, configuration control, and related processes
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, processes, and procedures
• Must practice exceptional organizational skills
• Must be able to establish and maintain documentation and deliverables
• General knowledge of Cyber Systems Engineering and Cyber Security
• Experience with military / DoD practices
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence (certifications a plus)
• Experience as a Scrum Master (certifications a plus)
• Experience as a Project Analyst and CCB member preferred and able to mentor others
• Possess an understanding of, and be able to manage the scheduling, coordination, planning, collaboration, and documentation of multiple ongoing projects, meeting, and Scrum sessions on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basi
• When required, have the ability to work outside of normal working hours and weekends as needed to support the customer’s need
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
