Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a n experienced, Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. We desire qualified , optimistic team members that enjoy a fast-paced, high energy environment . In this position you will perform system support within Microsoft Azure Cloud. In addition to in-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud computing, Cloud System Engineers need advanced analytical, troubleshooting and design skills. Candidate must be familiar with the systems engineering process and data as a fundamental building block for performance improvement within the cloud. Responsibilities will include participating in working groups, design reviews, and system tests. Cloud Engineer will generate assessments, as well as develop and implement actionable recommendations based on results and reviews. Candidate will construct cloud-based servers work with networking during implementation and rollout. Candidate must have a strong understanding of cloud networking protocols and best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meeting with clients to ensure services provided are within mission requirements
• Constructing Cloud-based servers
• Working with external Cloud support to mediate all issues and concerns within the cloud infrastructure
• Testing system and software interoperability
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of System Engineering experience
• Must have at least one DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, , CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Experience in a Microsoft Windows 2012/2016 Active Directory based enterprise environment
• Experience in a largely virtualized VMware environment
• Working administrative knowledge of several core Microsoft applications (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL) with deep expertise in at least one of the core applications
• Experience implementing and maintain application monitoring tools
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Microsoft Azure or AWS Certification
• Networking experience
• Understanding of DISA STIGs
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
• Experience with Esri software and technology
