We are seeking a highly-motivated EHR Support Specialist to join our team. The EHR Specialist is responsible for system support tasks related to end user support, testing, documentation, and general management of the Electronic Health Record. This position works with the Senior Systems Analyst and multiple stakeholders to identify and implement new functionality and/or applications to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Provides system support for end-users of the EHR software system
• Troubleshoots/responds to issues and supports users as needed
• Ongoing maintenance of the EHR
• Configures, tests, and implements updates to system
• Analyzes system for areas of improved efficiency
• Assists with identification and implementation of new functionality and/or applications to enhance patient care
• Maintains the test system and keeps test and live systems parallel in configuration
• Performs end-user testing with new interfaces
• Works with training specialists to test, train, and implement system upgrades, and enhancements
• Works with leadership to prioritize issues and enhancement requests
Qualifications:
• Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• System management/configuration experience preferred
• Advanced technology skills required
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
• Experience with Aprima/eMDs preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and follow through to resolve outstanding issues
• Highly organized with ability to quickly change directions and prioritize under pressure
• Proven ability to manage and participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be an organized self-starter, highly motivated, and results oriented
• Good judgment, resourceful, and creative problem solving skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skills
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Demonstrated compatibility with Bluestone’s mission and operating philosophies
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
