JOB SUMMARY: This is a Tax Auditor IV position in the General Tax Administration Program, Field Audit Process Tampa service center. The incumbent independently performs audits of taxpayers to determine tax compliance as it relates to Florida Statutes. The incumbent also examines and analyzes accounting systems of taxpayers, computes tax assessments or refund adjustments, prepares detailed reports of audit results, and conducts conferences with taxpayers and/or taxpayers' representatives.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
• Three years of professional accounting or auditing experience, with at least twenty-four of those months performing audits in sales tax within the General Tax Administration Field Audit process.
