Overview
BlueWater Federal is seeking a knowledgeable Theater Information Manager to support the CENTCOM Command and Control Division to develop and execute plans for the management and dissemination of pertinent, quality information for HQ USCENTCOM and its Component commands.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the principal technical expert performing actions supporting the management and coordination of GBS and DVB-RCS as a member of the Theater Information Management (TIM) Cell, Information Branch, Command and Control Division (CCJ3-C) of the Operations Directorate (CCJ3).
• Make efficient use of existing communication pathways through in-depth working knowledge of GBS, DVB-RCS, software applications/operations, Information Dissemination (IDM), and Information Assurance
• Assist Theater Information Managers (TIM) Cell and Global Broadcast Service Operation Center (GBSOC) with the creation, maintenance, and subsequent transmission of the actual GBS broadcast.
• Maintain a GBS Mission Request (GMR) tracking system to trace GMRs from receipt at the TIM Cell to the eventual broadcast of information and in the evaluation of new telecommunications devices, proposals, and approaches.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of current and emerging web-based communication strategies and technologies and website management practices.
• Knowledge of project management, team collaboration and team leadership to bring innovative web design solutions to problems, and bring complex, cross-fire projects to completion.
• Working knowledge of collaboration tools, telecommunications tools, cross domain solutions/information sharing solutions (ex., Sharepoint, CPN).
• Operational, working knowledge of Command and Control (C2), communications, and information systems utilized by Joint Commands and experience with military deployments, exercises, and preparations.
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
