We are looking for a remarkable individual to help provide outstanding patient care and customer service. This individual should have great interpersonal skills and be willing to be cross-trained as Veterinary Receptionist and Veterinary Technician on different days for the week.
Duties for Reception include but not limited to:
Answering phones, schedule appointments on Intravet system, collecting payments, client interaction and education of estimates, invoices, and policies, opening and closing, charting and filing of paperwork and history, monthly reminders and more.
Duties for Technician include but not limited to:
Obtaining medical history for appointments, client education of different heart-worm and flea prevention available, proper restraint for dogs and cats for exams/ treatment, assisting doctors as needed, preparing prescriptions and able to communicate common charting abbreviations and SIGs, obtaining samples and able to preform lab tests needed for sample (i.e Heart-worm tests, fecals, ear-swabs and cytology. Able to place I.V. Catheters and draw-blood. Proper animal husbandry and cleaning and more... (IDEXX knowledge of lab machines is a plus)

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift

Our practice follows the CDC safety guidelines to protect our staff and customers. Masks are required at all times on site by staff and customers. Curbside is offered to customers and additional sanitation guidelines are being used in common areas.
