Technology Systems Administrator Position Highlights: The Systems Administrator provides daily support in the#monitoring#and maintenance of Moffitt#s systems and related technology including but not limited to network infrastructure, storage and backup environments (file and block), virtualization environments, and server platforms leveraged by Moffitt#s Research, Business, and Clinical communities. This position ensures proactive#monitoring and#operational support is provided to maintain all infrastructure systems and technology for optimal performance.#The focus of#this position#is to#provide#virtual and physical server support, rightsizing and patching as well as#consistent monitoring of all systems and related infrastructure services to mitigate unplanned outages#while teaming with customers to ensure secure and reliable operations. # Responsibilities:# Lifecycle and Capacity Management Monitoring and Compliance Project and Team Work Documentation Collaboration Credentials and Qualifications: Associate#s Degree # Computer Science or Information Technology**#and#Minimum of seven (7) years proficiency in a technical support role of systems and data center operations with least one major area of focus or experience with network administration, virtualization, storage and backup administration, or server platform administration. ***Bachelors degree with five+ (5+) years of relevant IT experience may be considered #in lieu of# Associate#s#degree and seven (7) years of IT experience listed above. *# -OR- High School Diploma with an additional three (3) years of relevant technology experience plus the seven (7) years (for a total of 10 years) experience may be considered #in lieu# of an Associate#s degree. Preferred: Bachelor#s degree - Computer Science or Information Technology VCP DCS-SA CCNA DCCA MCSA VMWare ESX/NSX experience # management, capacity planning and rightsizing.# Working in an environment where HIPAA compliance is in use.# Logical problem solving skills with the ability to follow documented instructions and guidelines.# Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, specifically a hospital or hospital system, preferably in a 24x7 environment. Working experience with#monitoring and diagnostic solutions such as Solarwinds, Nagios, WhatsUp Gold, ExtraHop, vRealize Network Insight, etc. Experience and familiarity with#hardware and software systems including on premise data center with Cisco, Dell, Dell / EMC, DNS, DHCP, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, Citrix Netscaler, VMware, Linux, Unix, and/or Windows environments, LAN/WAN/SDN technologies as well as cloud providers is preferred.
