SUMMARY:
This position provides support to activities within the Finance department with specific responsibility for processing, recording, updating, and reconciling A/R information and collections.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Customer accounts receivable maintenance, including collections
• Cash application of daily cash receipts
• Processing credit memos
• Account reconciliations
• Additional projects as directed by management
• Filing
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP required
• 2 years in Accounts Receivable and Collections
• Technical background preferred
• Knowledge of produce, packaging, and supply chain management industries, as well as business/competitive intelligence data sources strongly preferred
• Previous experience and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining process integrity and data accuracy
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to support other team members and department initiatives in addition to normal responsibilities
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Flexible and resourceful
• Computer literacy required, including proficiency in standard business applications included in Microsoft Office Suite
