Salary: 60-75,000 per year
You should have experience with the following:
• C#
• WPF & MVVM
• ASP.Net MVC
• SQL/MS SQL Server
• HTML/JavaScript
Experience with the following is a plus:
• Azure Application Development
• Autofac
• NHibernate
• LINQ
• NUnit
• Document Imaging
• Data Science tools and techniques
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement new software programs
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
• Design and update software database
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to recommend and execute improvements
• Provide user training when needed to improve usability and performance.
• Continually work on improving performance of queries and source code performance using industry standard methodologies for SQL generation, data analysis and algorithm organization.
Requirements
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a related field
• Significant experience as a successful Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
• Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Extensive experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Solid knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C#, JavaScript, SQL) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
• Relevant experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. NHibernate/Entity Framework)
• Ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude coupled with focus and follow-through
