Account Receivable Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
• Computerized accounting system for posting receipts, invoices, and other transactions.
• Ensuring accounts are paying within terms, following up on slow paying accounts, and initiating collection activity if needed.
• Keeping a running audit file of unpaid invoices and aged invoice balances.
• Handling the back-office receipts and disbursements for a high volume retail operation.
• Preparing daily cash management, deposits.
• General accounting, office management duties to aid operations of the fast-paced operation, including weekends and evening duties.
Account Receivable Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• High standard of integrity and reliability.
