Department: Administrative Services Business Center/0-0204-000
Hourly Wage: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour based on experience.
Duties: Assist ASBC (Administrative Services Business Center) staff in administrative functions and reconciliation activities that include but are not limited to the following duties:
• Reconcile numerous fund accounts ensuring tracked expenses match Finance Mart records.
• Research transaction discrepancies.
• Review RSA checks bi-weekly and update payroll log with changes to appointments.
• Match PCard receipts with PCard holder statements. Building monthly PDF PCard statements for electronic delivery.
• Obtain signatures and submit packets to PCard Compliance monthly.
• Maintain and update excel based databases and tracking worksheets for Accounts Payable team.
• Ensure journals submitted by staff have posted successfully.
• Deliver deposits to Cashiers Office (must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf cart).
• Identify improvements to processes through use of technology.
• Update Operating Procedure Manual with attention to format and design.
• Assist Fiscal & Business Specialists, Analysts, and Manager with special projects and reporting.
Average Number of Hours per Week: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible within business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be a currently enrolled USF student.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Accounting, Finance, Business Management or similar field with experience working in an office environment.
• At least two years left until graduation.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
Special Skills/Knowledge:
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Some knowledge of university purchasing policies and procedures.
