Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Assist with the effective administration of recruitment campaigns and Human Resource Policies and programs for the Eby-Brown Florida OpCo.   Assist with staffing and business needs by building effective partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization. This position will report to the OpCo Human Resources Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows :
• Interviews and hires candidates for non-exempt and exempt level positions within the OpCo.
• Oversees orientation and on boarding process for new hires, as well as exit interview and off boarding process.
• Oversees and assists with development of contingency staffing strategies.
• Assists with developing comprehensive and strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs for the corporate office.
• Assists in identifying 3 rd party vendors and contract negotiations in the areas of staffing and recruitment  to include  internet and online job boards, advertisement agencies, etc.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and e nsures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and legislation specifically in the areas of EEO, ADA, ADEA, FMLA compliance.
• Assists with creating OpCp communication channels. Serves as an internal consultant to management on a broad range of human resources topics.
• Participates in OpCo employee event planning.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources, Business, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
1-3 years of Human Resource Generalist experience
Preferred Qualifications Distribution/manufacturing experience is highly preferred
