The Driver Qualification Auditor is responsible for reviewing the driver qualification documents and files for the new drivers and Owner Operators on-boarding with Quality Distribution and drivers that have already on-boarded. High degree of organization is required as is the ability to work on multiple driver files simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, computer skills & professionalism are key elements, as is effective verbal & written communication skills.
Essential Functions:
• Adhere to a Driver Qualification File Audit Process that drives accountability to ensure compliance with Quality Distribution requirements as well as applicable
• Federal, state and local regulations
• Audit Driver Qualification Files to ensure file meets FMCSA regulatory guidelines
• Audit Driver Qualification Files to ensure applicant meets Driver Qualification
• Minimum Hiring Requirements
• Utilize Tenstreet System to monitor status changes that would require documentation auditing required
• Ensure audited files are stored correctly in Tenstreet Restricted File section
• Communicate findings to Processors and Management identifying missing and/or incomplete documentation, minimum hiring requirements and/or regulatory guidelines were not met, and file processing was incomplete
• Provide support during Federal or State Compliance Reviews
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Minimum special knowledge and skills required:
• Transportation compliance experience preferred
• Systems knowledge of Microsoft to handle various projects
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Analytical and leadership qualities
• Ability to self-regulate tasks and multitask with minimal supervision
• Advanced customer service and professional communication skills
