The RTR Process Owner will support the RTR Sub-process leads and liaise with IT and the RTR Operations organization.
This position provides support for RTR process and systems activities. The main systems supported are SAP, RPM, Cadency, JET, MDG-F. This position is responsible and accountable for the resolution of process/system tier 3 issues in addition to supporting the sub-process leads and regional process leads in end-to-end projects; including but not limited to continuous improvement initiatives, re-design of processes, system upgrades and training.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Sub-process leads (SPL) and Business Partners with RTR-related problems resolution (Tier 3 – most complex break/fixes, issues)
• Provide support to RTR operations team throughout the monthend close; assisting with resolution of ad-hoc issues as they arise
• Participate in the tactical execution of RTR projects as defined by the GPOs.
• Collaborate with RTR operations to implement and support process improvement/changes
• Plan and schedule project timelines (including testing, cutovers and training activities as needed)
• Ensure appropriate handoff activities are coordinated at the end of the project.
• Coordinate all activities amongst involved resources (GPO, IT, Change Management, etc)
• Report on projects progress, issues and solutions to key stakeholders.
• Document and share RTR process knowledge to promote consistency across all RTR groups by developing and maintaining training materials
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline required.
• Maintains a high level of technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in record to report.
• Fluent in English
• Excellent computer skills with competencies in MS applications (Excel, Outlook) and major ERP platforms (preference SAP).
• Working knowledge of record to report processes in a multinational company.
• Strong influential cross-matrix skills
• Take responsibility and accountability for successful completion of assigned tasks
• Understand end-to-end process and have awareness of the broader picture.
• Identify and drive areas for CI within assigned scope and support peers and managers in delivering on a broader scope.
