The objective of the position is to provide support of the firm's global derivatives business through internal and external client communication in relation to regulatory rules/requirements by providing documentation assistance for the firm's derivatives and clearing business.
Key responsibilities of this position requires significant independent and collaborative work, legal document analysis, interpretation for validity, content, accuracy, and compliance. The position involves legal workflow and processing, and analysis of complex legal documents for senior legal and business management. The position provides continuous development of documentation knowledge and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience working in corporate legal department, law firm, financial services, consulting, technology firm or related industry.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and project management skills, as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively with Senior management.
• Knowledge of legal contracts/regulatory requirements/ customs/practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry.
Education:
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
