The Learning Specialist will be responsible for learner support, class logistics, Learning Management System (LMS) class set up, roster management, faculty coordination, materials content management, sending invitations and reminders to learners, answering learner questions, coordinating technology support, and developing/maintaining SharePoint sites. Responsibilities
• Monitor class rosters to identify classes at risk or needing support; communicate status daily
• Support logistics (class set up, security, room reservations, materials) for classes held in North America
• Order and ensure the physical delivery of materials; electronically for virtual programs
• Maintain SharePoint sites (structure/design of pages, lists, subsites, permissions, additional storage)
• Work with content owners to design/maintain/manage LMS communications and request new/updated notifications
• Answer inquiries from learners directly and escalate concerns to the respective teams as appropriate
• Maintain class rosters in the LMS
• Send program communications from the mailbox including class updates, invitations, reminders, nudges, etc. Use mail merge as necessary.
• Manage and follow up on pre-class surveys and other pre-work
• Create/maintain classes schedules
• Place technology, entitlement, and product requests for faculty and support personnel
• Communicate with faculty regarding class schedules and room assignments (virtual and physical)
• Monitor the mailbox and resolve learner issues prior to and during classes
• Support learners in the completion of 360-degree assessments
• Create attendance reports

Qualifications
• Education/Learning, Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, Project Management, or related field
• 3-5 years professional work experience in Business Administration, Learning and Development, Project Management, Organizational Development or related field.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems
• Strong demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
• Moderate to high level proficiency in Microsoft Office software: SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
• Demonstrated web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
