ROLE SUMMARY
The Pfizer Learning Academy (PLA) is a 250+ person organization in  Pfizer Digital, and is responsible for transforming the Learning Culture at Pfizer from one that currently focuses on required training to one that enables required and desired learning and development.  The current organization is responsible for training sales and marketing colleagues on functional skills, all Pfizer colleagues on human skills and all Pfizer Leader Development.
Within this organization, PLA Marketing is comprised of seasoned marketing colleagues focused on instilling a culture of marketing excellence and continuous development among the Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Group’s Marketing community.  The team works across Marketing in all BUs (all therapeutic BUs, China, and Emerging Markets) and all geographic areas.
This Pfizer Learning Academy – Marketing – Senior Manager role will be responsible for leading the development of the Pfizer Learning Academy platform for Marketers.
The role will be an essential member of the PLA – Marketing team and will represent that team in the Agile Scrums to bring the PLA platform to life for marketers, insuring the Marketers’ learner experience guides decision making and the content that populates the platform is of the highest quality and impact.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the PLA Content Scrum:
• Develop personas for marketing audiences
• Identify required behavior changes required by marketers to make Bold Move 3.3/PBG Agile a success
• Determine associated skills to be addressed via training
• Inform learner experience and platform requirements
• Curate/create content to populate PLA – Marketing platform
• Ensure marketer colleague and leader feedback is solicited and incorporated into sprints
• Iterate and evolve in sprints for an MVP deliverable to marketing audience by end of S2 2021
Post MVP launch
• Identify and define continuous improvement opportunities to evolve offering
• Consolidate online experiences so that PLA becomes single point of access for Marketers
• Transition PLA to BAU platform
Pre PLA Launch - Leads communication via all channels for Pfizer Learning Academy Marketing team.  Ensure strong website UX, including organization of content, optimized search, and consistent presentation of assets making optimization decisions based on data and feedback.
• Identify internal and external sources of content to share with marketing community.
• Develops video content with SMEs for web site and other PLA channels for marketing development.
• Manages monthly newsletter process from content decisions through distribution
• Supports full team with communication efforts to increase utilization of PLA Marketing offerings via all channels.
Support ongoing operations of PLA – Marketing Team
• Project budget management
• Tracking and analyzing program impact
• Supporting communications and awareness efforts about PLA Marketing offerings
• Supporting annual planning process
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
• Degree qualification: BA/BS required
• Marketing experience 7+
• Experience in Agile methodology a plus
• English fluency required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Understanding of Pfizer organizational construct and ability to navigate the complex and evolving landscape
• Able to operate independently and make decisions in ambiguous situations exercising good judgement; knows when to make decisions vs. seeking input from others/leaders.
• Proven track record of leading complex project with delivery of large scale, solutions across TAs and geographies
• Ability to manage own time to meet objectives; forecasts and plans resource requirements (people, financial and technology) for projects across Department

• Ability to synthesize and make data-based recommendations, fluency in digital engagement terms.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Participating in virtual meetings outside of normal business hours will occasionally be required to accommodate need for team equity, as team and learners are spread across geographies and time zones
• When Pfizer offices reopen, anticipate need for occasional travel for annual/semi-annual live team meetings (location TBD)
