Position Title: Information Security Analyst
Reports to : Director, Global Information Security
Location: Tampa, FL
Position : Exempt / Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire
Travel : Minimal
Summary of Position:
The Information Security Analyst is an integral member of the IT Security Team and is chartered with improving the security  within the organization and maturing the security awareness program amongst employees. The primary goal of this position is to establish a strong security awareness culture with our employees through a combination of ongoing awareness engagements, training, and testing programs. Through the training, our goal is to provide the building blocks and processes to motivate employees to go on offense with cybersecurity best practices to protect themselves, the Company, and clients.
Essential Functions:
• Develop compelling and effective cybersecurity awareness content and campaigns. This may require the creation of content – from concept to writing, editing, uploading and publish across multiple channels through our communication tools
• Perform information security and data privacy risk assessments of digital platform changes
• Support the development, drafting and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards
• Testing of security solutions prior to deployment to the organization
• Research the latest IT/OT technology security trends
• Assist in Supplier/Vendor Management assessments
• Support audit and compliance tasks and assignments
• Work with the team to conduct simulations and other security assessments to improve security maturity of employees
• Assist in the development of meaningful metrics and KPI’s that drive ability to:
• Create security awareness baselines
• Identify high risk populations for further testing and training
• Measure effectiveness of engagement campaigns and training content
• Provide reporting for executive management
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communication w/ a Security focus or equivalent combination of training and experience
• A passion for driving employee engagement and employee experience
• Very good communication and presentation skills
• CISSP or CISM a plus
• Prior experience as a business analyst, security analyst, project coordinator or project manager in an IT environment
• 5 years’ experience working in an IT Security role
• Good understanding with NIST and ISO security frameworks
• Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity training and awareness programs
• Ability to think creatively and strategically
• Experience working in technology, IT and/or cybersecurity with a good understanding of IT/Cybersecurity fundamentals
• Experience developing and delivering project communications
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Strong excel and data analytics skills to enable analysis of large testing data sets
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Effective organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders
• Ability to develop new security education/awareness material and relevant training materials for a diverse audience
• Ability to interpret information security data and processes to identify potential compliance issues

• Proven leadership skills including effective oral and written communication, performance management, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating team members, forecasting, and planning
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
• Have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical individuals at any level
• Functional technical knowledge of infrastructure, networking, architecture, security, and applications
• Meet project implementation targets
• Highly organized and task oriented.
• Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and assign tasks.
