Position Title: Business Solutions Security Engineer
Reports to : Director, Global Information Security
Location: Tampa, FL
Position : Exempt / Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire
Travel : Minimal
Summary of Position:
The Business Solutions Security Engineer is an integral member of the IT Security Team and will be essential to the architecture, review, and implementation of business solutions within the organization. The Business Solutions Security Engineer will work in collaboration with Business Engagement and Applications teams on various solution needs for the organization. This includes  SaaS, PaaS, licensed but hosted on vendor premises, hosted in Signode cloud and/or on premise and/or a combination. This is a hands-on application technical role.
Essential Functions:
• Evaluate and provide security assessment and recommendations for all Signode Business Solutions being recommended or requested by the business partners – identify risks and potential impacts to overall Signode security environment and work with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned to business needs, architecture, and security requirements
• Experience architecting and implementing security controls for business applications such as Microsoft AX, CRM, D365, Office365, Concur,
• Will aid in the design, architecture and implementation of business applications
• Lead and perform security activities including vulnerability testing and analysis, code review, and static and dynamic code testing
• Perform detailed business risk assessments and report results to stakeholders
• Communicate application security program fundamentals and processes, and act as a consultative partner with the business/developer teams
• Research and remain current on application security industry trends and attacker tools, techniques, and procedures
• Determine the type of data used in the business applications
• Participate in the testing of information security solutions
• Participate in security architecture reviews of applications
• Will be an active member of the IT security incident response team
Requirements:
• MIS Degree or equivalent work experience and certifications in Information Systems
• 7+ years of experience with application security and architecture
• 4+ years of experience with performing application security reviews
• Experience with performing security reviews of business applications
• Good understanding of NIST CSF
• Strong Microsoft 365, Microsoft, and Azure background
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of security systems, risks, concepts, and terminology
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve security and system issues
• Practical knowledge of administering O365

• Have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical individuals at any level
