Commonwealth Rolled Products is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area.
Our production facility is seeking to add a talented Supply Chain Analyst to its team. The purpose of this role is schedule, plan and analyze data to support the Supply Chain Planning team with regards to the Tolling process.
Responsibilities Include
• Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture
• Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values: Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork
• Work as an integral part of the Tolling Management Work Cell and the Customer Order Fulfillment Work Cell as managed functionally by the Tolling Superintendent in 4 functional areas 1) Inventory Transactions 2) Procurement 3) Tolling Inventory Management 4) Customer Relations
• Work with Tolling Superintendent to obtain new product quotes and advise on capabilities playing an integral role in the setup and implementation of new Toll Processors (Outside Processors)
• Responsible to be the daily single point of contact to coordinate Toller daily flow of Automotive orders to end Automotive customers. Monitor, track, manage, and resolve the day to day Automotive order issues identified to ensure accurate, timely, error free flow of product on-time, in full
• Work with Inside Sales to translate customer forecast into effective inventory strategy; verify order acknowledgment and/or forecast accuracy
• Work with Internal Supply Chain, Order Fulfillment/Inside Sales Group, and Toller Management Work Cells to identify, initiate, and resolve required order requirements, changes/reapplications, and expedites
• Ensure First Age/First Out processing of metal, monitor aging and on hold inventory
• Perform inventory transactions such as Recipes/Bill of Materials in Oracle, Shipping confirmations, inventory control, initiate scrap shipments, monitor Toller scrap levels
• Monitor flow of physical sample testing and certifications, customer claims coordination and processing
• Coordinate with Logistics Team to move material between tollers and to customers to ensure on time deliveries
• Plan and schedule orders at toll processors, balancing Customer priorities and toller capacities, ensure efficient assignment of orders based on toller capabilities
• Maintain accurate order promise dates on orders at toll processors by tracking product flow from origin to final delivery
• Analyze and reconcile off site inventory
• Contribute to the creation of the SOP as it relates to the off-site processors
• Track, report, and analyze delivery performance of each processor
• Communicate with and manage all aspects of relationships with processors including onboarding, EDI, reporting, and single point of contact
• Perform Procurement transactions such as issuing service purchase order, communication work instructions from Sales to Tollers, reconcile Toller invoices to Service purchase orders, monitor order completion status
• Work effectively with teams to determine solutions to problems, build rapport/collaboration, conduct training
• Analyze business operations and user requests by making recommendations for process improvements/system solutions, and facilitating their design and deployment as these apply to Tolling
• Assists with the development of standard work instructions and process workflows
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing setting
• High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Comfort and familiarity with multiple computer systems, integrated and non-integrated
• Data cleansing and validation experience
• Proven success at managing change and continuous-improvement programs
• Ability to communicate with others to build credibility and rapport
• Ability to listen well, present information clearly, write intelligently, and persuade others
• Strong sense of self-awareness and situational self-awareness
• Ability to coach, guide and lead cross-functional teams
• Ability to work autonomously, independently

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and/or Supply Chain Certification
• 1+ year of experience using ERP Order Management in a manufacturing environment
