Full Job Description 2 - Class A CDL LOCAL COMPANY DRIVERS needed at this time. HOME EVERY DAY .
MVR Requirements are: Min 25 years old, Min of 3 years CDL Class A Experience, No more than 3 points on license, No DUI, and no accidents in the last 3 years. Insurance will run your MVR so please do NOT apply if you do not meet these requirement.
We Just received another contract, need 1 more driver ASAP. We DO NOT hire all the time, we are growing fast, so we need more drivers, we only hire drivers when needed to cover contracts. All our drivers are busy all week, we do not sit around and wait for loads. All our trucks are in Tampa close to the Port and some in Port Manatee. This is where drivers start and end each day. Our Dispatch office is located in Spring Hill, FL. which is 50 miles North of Tampa. However our truck parking and truck repair shop is in Tampa.
-Work 75% within Tampa Bay area (100 mile radius), we also have loads to Riviera Beach, Jacksonville and Miami (200-250 mile run) 1-2 times per week. We sometimes haul flat beds and 53' van when it is slow with container work. We Pick up from and deliver to Port of Tampa and CSX Rail. Mon-Fri work, Hours vary as appointments do as well. Some weekend work is available which is voluntary.
We ONLY work legally with max 14hr/11hr work day. Eld's are installed in all trucks.
We offer:
• High compensation pay for the industry. Average $850-$1500 week. Pay is per load basis.
• Detention pay is $30hr if incurred after 2 free hrs. Layover paid after 4hrs of waiting time at $150.00(Layover is for Container delivery in state of Florida only)
• Late model assigned trucks
• Guaranteed weekly Pay: $500.00 minimum week guarantee (just in case there is a slow week and Ships do not come into Port of Tampa due to a Hurricane or truck breaks down- we have 2 spare trucks for these instances, however this is a just in case guarantee). MUST be available to work Mon-Fri every day.
• Direct deposit into bank account every Friday after 2 weeks holdback (Must have bank account)
• Hours vary as appointments do as well but generally it's between 6am-6pm
• We do NOT take taxes out. Work as an independent contractor. You will receive a 1099Misc at end of year.
• 20% Weekly Bonus incentives

We Require:
• =====-TWIC CARD is required to enter container yard in Port. If you do not have a TWIC card you must be willing to apply for one right away. TWIC costs $150.00 and you CAN NOT ever had any felonies on your record. This is a government issued ID with extensive back ground checks. MUS have it or be willing to apply for it right away.
• Must be at least 25 years old with 3 years of experience, No more than 3 points on license, No DUI, and no accidents in the last 3 years.
• MUST live in or close to Tampa FL.
• MUST pass a drug test which will be given at time of hire and random once a year. Drug free environment.
• We need drivers that we can depend on , hard runners, NO DRAMA, work every day with no excuses, Serious about making money.
• MUST always be on time and have a sense of urgency. If you are a person that is late please DO NOT apply.
• MUST know how to operate a GPS unit as we do all dispatch through a GPS installed in trucks.
• Must be able to follow directions and reply to ALL dispatches.
