Job Description Infosys is seeking an Functional Test Analyst .  As a Test Analyst, you will resolve queries raised by the team across modules. You will create specification by gathering information from SME's, existing systems, users etc. and support the translation of these into Functional requirements.  You will support the creation of Requirement traceability matrix using the latest tools and technologies. You will contribute to Test Scenario Creation and focus on Test Scenario Review and Functional Test Creation and focus on Functional Test Review. You will perform Setup for more than one module by Creating data / SQL scripts etc in an automated fashion by limiting the manual effort. You will provide updates for Project trackers and populate Test Data. You will contribute to Test Case Execution, Test Case Results Review and Defect Review. You will also perform specific activities for the given module as per the "Go-live" implementation plan without any support.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to the area.
• At least 2 years of experience with Testing strategies and Test Execution
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in working in all the stages of a STLC, with in-depth knowledge about various methodologies like Waterfall, Agile etc
• Ability to understand the software systems from the Business user’s perspective
• Experience in performing Functional, Regression, Sanity/Smoke testing, Negative testing
• Review/analyze the requirements and assess the testing needed to validate the Business requirements.
• Proficient in structuring test scenarios/test cases ensuring requirement coverage
• Identify, analyze and document defects encountered during testing
• Good understanding of the Defect management process with experience in ALM, JIRA
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
• Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
