Product Manager - Colocation Form Factor

Job Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for the execution of a product strategy through the tactical execution of product roadmap efforts and research and ana lysis ena bl ing new Colocation product offerings that expand the p latform for Equinix ’s digital ecosystem .
Responsibilities
• D riv es new and improv es existing products supporting emerging data center form factors
• Develops project plans, executes product lifecycle tasks, captures product requirements, and collaborates with business and technology teams
• Responsible for the development of product strategy and the creation and ongoing support of the product vision and roadmap
• Builds financial business models and conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with more senior team members
• C ompile s and analyze s product performance report s; provides insight and recommendations t hat advance product adoption
• Participates in regular touch points with key internal stakeholders and customers to solicit feedback for new product ideas and improvements to existing product functionality
• Determines prioritization of product backlog and works regularly with other product managers and operations/engineering teams to improve delivery efficiency and roadmap goals
• Supports cross-functional test cases and helps coordinate/execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• You manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
Qualifications
• BA or BS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on product management experience throughout the entire product life cycle including inbound and outbound functions – ideation, evaluation, prioritization, development, go-to-market, launch, and growth
• 3+ years of prior experience as a Product Manager for a Colocation, Data Center and/or Services Product
• Experienced in Agile/Lean development methodology including t ools associated with Agile Development including Jira, Aha!, or similar
• Experience defining products/services for the colocation data center business including the physical form factor, ordering experience , deployment methods , fulfillment activities , and service level requirements
