The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with LAN / WAN and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services
• Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
• Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks
• Provide technical/strategic direction to team members
• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
• Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system
• Conduct project related research
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services) with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
• Understanding of how specialization within area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services
• Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
• Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline
• Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
• Provide Application Database SME support for the WRC  platform
• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system.
• Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
• To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.
• Responsible for problem escalation to appropriate teams and third parties as required
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team
• Responsible for implementation and support of Oracle Golden Gate 11g/12c/19c
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Able to make changes to the existing Data Model (Logical & Physical), Implement Changes, build deployment packages and promote them to higher environments (UAT, Production and Cob) following SDLC
• Excellent understanding on Database concepts including Procedures, Triggers, Packages, Database Constraints, Indexes using Oracle 11g
• Should be able to help in finding current issues and provide solutions to improve performance
• Working knowledge of Linux Redhat, File System, Cluster Management and Oracle ASMC and ACFS
• System analysis and design skill with knowledge of data flow diagrams, data dictionary techniques, case tools, Entity relation Modeling, design Technique etc
• Database Design Skill including normalization theory, STAR Schema Design  and Data Modeling tool with proven experience of Process, Data flow and forward/reverse engineering of logical/physical RDBMS layout
• Change Control Management Skills using Source Control System
• 10+ years  Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service.
• Ensure weekend activities complete successfully through assignment, coordination, oversight and validation. This may requires weekend work.

• Be accountable for project results along with project sponsor
• Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outline, scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing.
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
• Provide project schedule to identify when each task will be performed
• Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle while working with team members, system administrators and database administrators.
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request
• Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved
• Develop tools and best practice for repeatable tasks and execution
• Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion
• Ensure planning on migration of servers, database migrations and are reviewed and shared with stake holders before implementation
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Experience:
• 12-15   years of combined business and Similar experience providing support to financial clients
• Relevant business experience or formal project management and/or consultancy background is required on financial street
• College degree in related field is required. Graduate degree would be an added advantage
• Some experience in designing and implementing enterprise data models/hubs
• Maintaining database security for appropriate audit controls
• Managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
