Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Hold full responsibility for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning and requirement analysis and developing, testing and implementing software and delivery into the production environment. Ensure quality and optimized coding with proper documentation, develop unit test plan, perform unit testing, and provide continuously improved product experience. Perform peer-code review and take responsibility for the quality of code delivered by the team. Participate in database design and involved in entire lifecycle of development projects. Gather and analyze business requirements, develop high and low level technical design documentation, develop unit and system test plans, and test software applications. Build, design, and implement key system components, discuss requirements with business users and server teams, and perform demonstrations of completed iterations. Develop web monitoring tools for regulatory and reporting purposes using web technologies and coordinate the implementation of system changes with functional asset class teams to determine priorities, schedule new builds and releases, and maintain the build calendar. Conduct integration testing and collaborate with the Quality Assurance group to deliver software to end users. Collaborate with front office teams and other asset classes regarding system integration. Develop unit test plans using MSpec, utilize JIRA to support defect tracking in the production environment and enhance source code using version control tools, including TFS. Develop desktop and web applications for content backup using agile development methodology. Develop and enhance software solutions using Java, Javascript frameworks such as Angular and other Java based web technologies including Struts, Spring framework, Hibernate, JPA and Gemfire caching framework. Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval using SQL databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL server and No-SQL databases such as Couchbase and MongoDB.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Bioinformatics or related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, Applications Development Programmer Analyst, or related position involving software development. 4 years of experience must include: Algorithms and Datastructures; Java Programming; Relational Database Management System and Oracle database programming; Unix Shell scripting; Spring framework (Core, Data and Springboot); Hibernate and Java Persistence Application Programming Interface (JPA); and Couchbase.
