ROLE SUMMARY
The Safety Creation Center, Solutions Delivery Senior Manager will join a team that provides Digital support to the Pfizer Word Wide Safety (WWS) Organization.  The role will deliver on a blend of project/program responsibilities as well as systems support activities, specifically for the Argus Safety application including E2B exchange, all in alignment with the WWS Digital strategy.
Leveraging previous experience and utilizing strong knowledge/understanding of the principles and concepts of the project management discipline, the Solutions Delivery Manager will ensure that the software developed/ implemented meets the business needs.  The individual will establish and maintain partnership with the business owners, Digital Client Partners, Digital architecture team, Global Product Development (GPD) Information Management (IM), WWS and Digital compliance and deployment leads for the successful design, development, verification and delivery of Argus Safety projects and enhancements.
The Solutions Delivery Senior Manager will also work closely with the Support & Operations team to ensure that the Argus Safety suite of tools and interfaces are operating at highest levels (24x7x365) to meet the constant demands for Digital systems and services ensuring Pfizer’s ability to meet global Board of Health policies, regulations and timelines as it relates to product Safety reporting.
This individual will guide teams to ensure  that they execute steps necessary to meet the requirements of Pfizer’s software development life cycle (SDLC) including iterative and formal testing to ensure the Argus Safety solutions developed are delivered with the utmost quality and efficiency.  This resource may also utilize the Agile@Pfizer framework to enable the more efficient delivery of solutions.
The role requires the ability to focus the entire team on the delivery of high quality outcomes, using existing Pharmacovigilance domain and Argus Safety knowledge as well as innovative thinking to make decisions to resolve complex problems.  This person will also have a strong desire for continuous learning to stay current with the rapidly evolving technology landscape and to bring new ideas and knowledge to the team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will:
• Establish and maintain partnerships with internal (business/Digital/IM) and external teams to deliver world-class technology services and solutions (aligned with WWS Digital Strategy) that deliver successful outcomes, value and effectiveness within the Argus Safety and E2B domains to the WWS business.
• Serve as the Safety Creation Center lead for one or more Argus Safety related project implementations occurring in parallel.  Project outcomes will be aligned with all Pfizer policies, procedures, and Digital Solutions Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Serve as a Safety Creation Center technical subject matter expert for the Argus Safety application including E2B exchange, interfaces, extensions, technical configuration, advanced conditions, reporting rules, security framework, custom reporting, and regional modules.
• In partnership with the Support & Operations systems lead, the individual will be responsible for:
• SLAs and policies/procedures for operations and maintenance are met for application uptime and issue resolution Systems and correlating documentation are maintained in a state of audit and inspection readiness
• All change management activities are well executed and aligned with Pfizer SDLC and Safety processes
• All Pfizer enterprise application management systems entries are maintained for the portfolio
• Continuous improvement of services and processes to reduce risk, cost, and shift resources to high-value areas
• Serve as primary contact for vendor relationship.
• Responsible for financial management (forecasting, maintenance payments, development of capital business case, etc.) and achievement of project, domain and Digital Safety team financial targets.
• Partner with Pfizer Procurement to establish professional/managed services vendors and software strategies to generate increased value over time.
• Work across enterprise Digital functions to ensure a level of process and technology transparency, and where possible, adopt common solutions and approaches
• Contribute to both the enterprise Pfizer Digital and WWS Digital strategies.
• Provide leadership in the preparation and execution of Pfizer Medical QA and Safety QA global Board of Health Inspections and Audits.
• Lead diverse teams in the evaluation of new technology solutions to determine regulatory, data integrity, security requirements and identify opportunities to provide a technical solution to improve processes.
• Satisfy project estimate requests including proposals for full project implementation approach for new project demand.
• Establish strong relationships with key partnering organizations (including but not limited to Digital Client Partners, Castles Support Team and WWS Business Stakeholders) to strengthen delivery of cross-functional solutions.
• Guide others based on an understanding business processes, application usage, and data models for application(s), applying this knowledge to help deliver solutions that meet the needs of the WWS organization.
• Serve as a liaison to other business partners, creation centers, and information management/business on various projects/programs.
• Partner with current Safety Creation Center leads to optimize the utilization of resources across various project activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• MINIMUM: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience as an information technology professional in one or many roles such as a client partner, solution delivery manager, systems architect, program/project manager, database administrator, technical subject matter expert, computer or process engineer or support specialist ·
• Demonstrated experience serving as a program/project lead, technical SME, or other accountable role  responsible for the planning, oversight, design, delivery and/or support of an Argus Safety domain solution.
• Demonstrated experience working and managing third party vendor engagements
• Demonstrated delivery of process improvement projects following a structured methodology ·
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical drug development process and Safety/Pharmacovigilance domain
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and project forecasts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences ·
• Demonstrated capabilities with software development processes, systems design and development management, testing (unit, systems, end user acceptance, performance, and load) and systems integration ·
• Demonstrated ability to participate on, build and/or lead high performing, matrixed, geographically distributed project teams
• Demonstrated Project management experience and foundational knowledge of System Development Life Cycle and System Development Methodologies, both Waterfall and Agile
• Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management

Given the global nature of the role, it is probable that meetings will occur outside of the normal 8 hour working day.
