Kennco Mfg., Inc. is a 48-year-old company that manufactures farming equipment and fabricates metal components for customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are in Ruskin, Fl. which is located right off of I-75 about 30 minutes from North Tampa and South Bradenton/Sarasota.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, personable Marketing Specialist to join our team in Ruskin, FL. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building our brand in the farming industry by planning, developing, executing and evaluating all marketing materials including online and social media content. This position will wear many hats as we are a small office and we back each other up. Ability and desire to multitask a must.
What will you do?
• Write, create and manage written and visual content for social media platforms.
• Create marketing materials such as fliers, catalogs and provide website content.
• Create marketing campaigns for new products
• Generate leads for sales team
• Create and send monthly newsletters to customers on trends in the industry
• Prepare for and attend tradeshows
• Manage data in contact management database
• Take photos and videos of products in production and in the field during use.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, major in Communications or Marketing preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred as many materials will need to be in both languages
• Experience in communicating for B2B company with agriculture or manufacturing focus an asset
• Friendly and personable
• In-depth knowledge and experience of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Photo editing and graphic design skills needed
• Intermediate photography skills an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Creativity and inquisitiveness
• Ability to resolve complex issues and handle multiple deadlines and priorities
• Must demonstrate sound judgment and decisiveness
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to organize and manage your own time
• Ability to travel when required
This position is full time and will work on site at Kennco. We are not interested in outsourcing or remote working.
