Lap of Love is seeking a creative, innovative, and team-oriented Marketing Assistant for our dynamic and entrepreneurial company in the Tampa Bay area. You primarily will be responsible for supporting the company’s marketing department. You will work collaboratively with co-workers on other efforts, as well.

Responsibilities:
Formatting and ordering print marketing materials for new employees.
Announcement campaigns for new doctors (email, fax, and snail-mail).
Copywriting, curating, proofing, and editing content for internal and external marketing efforts (newsletters, blog posts, social media, press.)
Support conference and company event planning while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors for ordering, shipping, and coordinating all details for each event.
Build knowledge of marketing systems and voice of the company to support digital messaging, newsletters, email campaigns, and press releases.
Assist with coordination and planning of corporate gifts, and internal team initiatives, and educational events.
Support multiple internal departments with marketing-related projects by providing creative input and administrative support.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy with projects and planning
Basic graphic design skills (preferably Adobe Creative Suite)
Fastidious proofreading skills
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Motivation to do profound work
Displays compassion, control, and confidence in all aspects of the position
Exemplify and convey Lap of Love values
Degree with a focus in marketing, communications, advertising, or PR
Minimum 4 years work experience in marketing or marketing-related field
Digital marketing experience a plus
