Coca-Cola Beverages Florida seeks to add a key member to its Risk Management team by employing a dynamic, business professional as its next DOT Database Administrator
Under the general direction of the DOT Compliance Manager, the DOT Database Administrator is responsible for Coke Florida’s Driver Technologies governance structure including:
• Oversee and direct Driver Technology systems, and business analytic work related to the governance of data for our operations; establish and monitor goals and objectives
• The Supervisor-Driver Technologies collaborates with departments (e.g., Managers, Supervisors, Drivers, Planning, Legal, Risk Management, etc.) to ensure Driver Technologies are executed efficiently
• Oversight of the overall Driver Technology data and governance processes including third party contract analysis, claims coordination, insurance data requests, DOT compliance, Drivers’ License Monitoring Program, Electronic Logging Device Program, In-Cab Camera Technology Program, and any governance procedures. For claims management reviews, must investigate potential litigation and pre-litigation claims and support providers throughout the claim cycle as requested from Legal or Risk Management
Role Responsibilities
• Administers the Drivers’ License Monitoring Program and maintains services provided by the related vendors
• Administers and oversees the Electronic Logging Device Program and maintains services provided by the related vendors
• Administers and manages the In-Cab Camera Technology Program and maintains services provided by the related vendors
• Develops analytical reports from the Safety Technology Systems that will be distributed to the Risk Management Team, Senior Leadership, and each location’s management teams
• Ensures the Driver Coaching and Counseling Process is being completed for events generated by the Safety Technology Systems
• Coordinates and executes any data requests from Legal, Risk Management, or other key stakeholders
• Responsible for continuous improvement of the Safety Technology Systems, Programs, and related Processes through on-going data analysis and reporting
• Administers user access and permission levels to the Safety Technology Systems in coordination with the Information Technology Team

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to Administer, maintain, and preserve the Driver Technology Systems
• Basic mathematical skills such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent analytic skills and ability to prepare executive level reports
Role Requirements
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in a related field; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of the FMCSA DOT Regulations preferred
