Full Job Description We are a large metal recycling company based in Tampa, Florida and currently have 1 vacancy available. We are looking for CDL/Class A license to work approximately 40 hours a week. This position will be based at our facility in Tampa, Fl.
Tasks and duties will include:
• carrying out routine vehicle checks
• making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
• driving vehicles to vendor destination/our different locations
• maintaining a log book with details of trips, including rest breaks as per DOT guidelines

To successfully secure this opportunity, you must:
• Must have at least five years truck-driving experience
• Should be able to operate tractor trailers, dump trucks, straight trucks
• Class A/CDL license
• Five Years driving record
• Valid Medical card
• TWIC (Preferred) But NOT required.
• 1 Year verifiable driving experience along with references
• Must pass a background check and DOT physical and drug screen
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of scrap metal (Preferred)
• Driver will be home every night.
• Occasional weekend runs
• This position pays $18.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
