WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our team seeks a Senior Planner within Nike & Foot Inc Marketplace Unit! In this role, you will be at the heart of the marketplace team supporting the Women’s business. The scope of responsibilities includes providing in-season analysis, account management, and pre-season planning. As a Senior Planner, you’ll bring high-energy, a self-starter mentality, and a strong ability to operate in ambiguous environments. Collaboration is key, as you’ll proactively build positive relationships across the Nike organization. As a leader within the Foot Marketplace Unit, you’ll embrace and lead change, cultivate innovation, and value differences.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
On any given day you might be developing style-level retail sales and inventory plans to inform financial plans that will fuel assortments and influence buy decisions. You’ll also manage in-season optimization by maximizing allocations and partnering with account on the day to day business. Finally, you’ll keep a pulse on the business: analyzing sales results, preparing key item forecasts, managing the order book, coordinating samples, and selling-in products seasonally. This work will challenge you to build complex reports, as well as prepare, edit, and deliver assortment documents. You will enable success by collaborating with multiple cross functional internal teammates, buyers, and account leadership.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You’ll be a point person for the Nike Women’s business at our Nike Office In Tampa, FL and report to the Nike Women’s Planning Director. You’ll collaborate daily with a variety of groups and individuals including: merchandising, merchandise financial planning, marketing, our marketplace teams as well as supporting our third-party wholesale account.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field (2 years additional experience in lieu of degree).
• 4+ years experience in planning with emphasis on retail business planning, reporting, and analytics.
• Moderate to advance Excel skills.
• Proven ability to sift through large amounts of data, identify critical information, analyze, and make recommendations.
• Strong ability to influence through compelling communication.
• Able to think critically and understand the potential of a product in the marketplace while identifying gaps to bottoms-up financial plan.
