The Director, Digital manages Customer Portals, web application development frameworks, tools, internally developed Web applications, and integration solutions. This role works cross-functionally with various business owners and Capability team Leadership to provide IT solutions to their customer’s needs and manages the digital development activities to ensure customers are offered timely and high-quality dashboards, portals, and other applications and its integration. The Director, Digital will be responsible for delivering web infrastructure, site experience and automated web Dashboard and self-service technologies to deliver greater value to customers. The Director, Digital, will work with VP to develop and implement strategic roadmap for CompuCom Customer portals & web sites. He/she will also be responsible for planning, executing and overall customer Digital experience for CuC customers. His/her focus will be on driving increased Customer Satisfaction in using secure portals & Digital sites that help customers manage & monitor their assets & services, offering IT solutions to sell relevant products and services to core customer base, and achievement of corporate objectives.
This position is remote and will require you to interact with your colleagues and leadership remotely.
What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
The Director, Digital should have proven experience leading an eCommerce/Digital organization, with demonstrated success managing e-commerce/digital business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results. This position directs the activities of several functional areas through directors, managers/senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. This role is also responsible for the ecommerce/Web architecture and strategy for the company. This position has control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. This role leads and manages a dedicated team of Web development professionals, hires and trains new staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership and coaching, including technical and personal development programs for team members. This role ensures technical debt is managed well to enable increased ease and automation of customer roll out and adoption of common Dashboard and Portal solutions across all customers. It sets the security direction and standards for the Portal organization. Requires close coordination and influence with affiliated companies, partners, and vendors.

• Provides strategic thought leadership and delivery (both process and technology) for all areas of the company and all technologies related to Web and Mobile application Development. This includes advising IT and business leaders in the following areas:  Web and Mobile application strategic roadmap, program development and delivery Web and Mobile implementation, technology evaluation and solution recommendation  Web and Mobile apps meet all local/state/province/country and federal laws and industry standards Web Management and Integration, Defining Data & Analytics Strategy & Establishing Data Governance Identifying and Defining Web and Mobile Investments.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
• Operate as Capability Center product architect exploring, evaluating, and deciding the use of strategic, innovative, cost-optimized technology solutions that improve resiliency and functionality for the enterprise.
• Research, finalize, implement and drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies including cloud technologies, AI, ML, Blockchain, etc to provide Customer centric Portal experience & solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Digital Marketing & IT in a matrix team environment to define objectives and deliver results.
• Develop strategic plan(s) to broaden existing customer base and provide relevant products/solutions and lead the design and development of customer experience projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Architect Portal & Mobile solutions and work with various business teams to design and develop a customer experience that is highly appealing to customers and powered by latest Web technology enablers.
• Partner with Technology and business teams to deliver stable and highly available portal, mobile apps, and integration platforms.
• Work with business owners to identify customer needs and design portals and integrations to applications from Portals; primary partners include but are not limited to the management team, sales & marketing, delivery, and capability center.
• Develop and maintain supplier and consulting relationships and service contracts, while managing thorough reviews of all customer and vendor contracts for security compliance and security standards and capabilities for the organization.
• Lead the development, maintenance, communication and adoption of Portal and Mobile application roadmaps and blueprints for CompuCom and affiliates through an agile development approach.
• Lead and enable effective End to End Testing, Test Automation and Dev Ops aspects of the Web development.
