POSITION SUMMARY
Individual is responsible for the day-to-day management of data including gathering, importing, cleansing, and analysis of client data. The associate will identify and communicate any data related issues/recommendations to the appropriate recipients such as other database analysts, consulting team members or IT team leaders and follow through to resolution. Additional responsibilities include the development and timely distribution of reports and assisting associates with data-related technical expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Extract, import, clean and load client data into Microsoft SQL Server according to defined schedule
• Ensure data transformation remains within acceptable thresholds per client
• Generate, review and distribute client data reports
• Analyze reports for accuracy and identify anomalous results
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting
• Troubleshoot IS Catalog - Level 1: Navigation & identification of error, initial research of error, recommend resolution, escalate as needed, and manual execution of package.
• Troubleshoot Data Specific Issue - Level 1: Research reported issue, determine if issue is valid requiring modification and/or escalation.
• Monitor automated processes for successful completion and report issues when necessary
• Become resident data expert for assigned clients
• Provide recommendations for process improvements
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Perform client process and database audits
• Assist with rollout of application upgrades and other process enhancements
• Adhere to department coding standards and best practices
• Assist with advanced data analysis and reporting
• Assist with onboarding new clients including setup, configuration and development
• Work closely with Consultants and Analysts to identify, assess and correct data issues
• Assist Data Integration team in other areas as required and necessary to meet the needs of our clients
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by DI Team Lead/Manager.
SKILLS
• Possess analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high quality results on time
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Preferred experience of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS or equivalent Database and ETL tools
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Effective written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical associates.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities
• Ability and willingness to accommodate irregular work hours including occasional extended or weekend work hours
• Continual pursuit for expanding own skills and knowledge base

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or a strongly affiliated discipline is preferred.
• Hospitality or retail work experience preferred.
EVALUATION
• An initial performance evaluation is conducted after 90 days
• Performance is evaluated annually at the end of each calendar year to review the position’s defined responsibilities and specific domains of accountability.
• Salary is reviewed annually in January
