Job Description
Human Resources Generalist/Specialist for a progressive Direct Mail Marketing company . This role is to help ensure compliance in all practices and procedures, support all 100 employees including management, on matters relating to employment and labor law, work as the benefits administrator and assist in implementing policies and procedures related to employee relations.
Job Requirements
• Conduct employee orientation and employee exit interview
• Promote and administer company employee benefits programs
• Employee development, training and employee relations
• Administers background checks and drug testing
• Assist with employee relations issues including employee discipline
• Maintain regulation compliance ie, FMLA, Covid, COBRA, Workers comp,etc.
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
• Supports recruitment of personnel
• Maintains employee handbook, policies and provisions, job descriptions
• Leads Safety and Health/Wellness committees
• No payroll responsibilities
• Proficient skills with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Effective written and spoken communications skills
• Good planning, organization and interpersonal relationship skills
• Must be a Non-smoker
