Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting for a Director of Finance position with a well established non-profit company in the Tampa Bay area with the option to work 100% remote currently and in the future. This is a direct hire opportunity that provides great benefits and a competitive salary.
The Director of Finance will provides leadership, management, and strategic planning for the company while also providing proper financial and operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the organization. This will also include oversight of financial planning, forecasting, management of financial risk, organizational and research budget management, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
•   Manage day-to-day company operations.
•   Provide daily leadership and management for core staff and general management for all employees.
•   Drive the company to achieve financial goals; ensuring general business goals and objectives are met. This includes management of finance and accounting, measuring cash flow, strategic planning activities, investment analysis, and implementation of effective controls.
•   Management and oversight of budgets
•   Development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
•   Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the objectives of the organization.
•   Motivate and lead a high-performance administrative team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the administrative team; provide mentoring and career advancement planning.
Requirements:
10 or more years of experience in Accounting/Finance and business operations
5 or more years of experience in management
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
MBA preferred
Non-profit experience preferred
Experience in financial planning and analysis, including overseeing financial systems, legal issues, and audits in a business environment.
Experience in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning.
