Full Job Description Versatile Packagers in Tampa Florida is looking for committed candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This position will be responsible for all warehouse functions for the Versatile Packaging Warehouse, including receiving and checking in all new shipments and transfers, preparing and shipping goods to customers. This position will assist the Management team in ensuring the accuracy of the warehouse inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Train and instruct lift drivers on daily duties
• Receiving materials and customer product
• Inspect the quality and condition of shipments inbound and outbound
• Ensure quantities are correct and communicate any damages/shortages
• Preparation and shipment of finished goods
• Maintain warehouse standards and cleanliness with daily and weekly cleaning of warehouse.
• Maintain supply levels and communicate needs to management
• Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs
• Use of company’s ERP system to complete receiving and shipping tasks
• Coordinate closely with Project Coordinators to meet customer needs

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• This position requires two (2) years prior warehouse clerk experience and two (2) years forklift experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
