Full Job Description Job Description:
The overall responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is to grow the number of ReedTMS internal personnel in both quantity and quality. This will be accomplished through a collaboration of networking, marketing and outbound solicitation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• In charge with the growth and expansion of our internal personnel footprint by direct broker recruitment.
• Source candidates through the use of a variety of marketing & recruitment tools.
• Build a pipeline of entrepreneurial candidates.
• Be able to quickly establish credibility, engage a candidate, give an overview of ReedTMS’s agent program and set appointments for further discussions.
• Create & update a sourcing log with information on each sourced candidate.
• Qualify candidates based on pre-set criteria and route appropriate candidates along with gathered information to senior recruiter and hiring managers to start the recruiting interviews.
• Integrate & promote ReedTMS values
• Daily source 40 new leads, make 30 calls to existing and/or new candidates, pre-screen and interview to present qualified candidates to hiring manager for final interview.
• Work with marketing team to achieve recruiting ads and maintain brand image when posting ads.
• Works closely with hiring managers and senior recruiter to find qualified candidates.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience: *
EXPERIENCE: *
2-3 years recruiting experience with emphasis on multi-site recruiting
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Must have an understanding of the transportation industry
• (What is a; 3PL, Trucking Company and Intermediary)
• Someone that understands agent based business models.
• Must have highly developed, communication, organizational and people skills.
• Required to have advanced Internet research skills.
• Requires the ability to balance multiple duties at once while still maintaining a high attention to detail.
• Must be a team player.
• Previous sourcing experience is a plus and strong follow up skills are a must.
