While experience in real estate or property management is a plus, strong self-motivation and a results orientation are even more important. To be a good fit for the Portfolio Accountant opportunity, you will have:
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in accounting and financial statement preparation
• Strong computer abilities, including advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Completion of the CPA exam, or plans to sit for it in the near future
