Graphite Strategic Payments team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer.  You will be a part of our mission to modernize payment flows and environments to drive organizational growth. You will play a part in this modernization by working to implement cloud strategies, modernizing legacy systems, and coding for the future Continous Integration/Deployment landscape. As you grow in technical expertise in one or more areas of specialization as well as leadership capabilities, your role within the team will provide opportunities to advance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads technical design and development of complex deployment tooling using Continuous Integration/Deployment best practices.
- Defines standards and best practices around branching, deployment and testing, for teams to follow.
- Leads team Agile ceremonies and communicates updates to key stakeholders.
- Performs design, coding, testing, code reviews, implementation, and documentation of solutions.
- Identifies opportunities to improve deployment and testing process.
Experience:
- Strong understanding and experience with industry best practices around branching, Continous Integration/Deployment for complex large scale global systems.
- Strong experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment tools using Jenkins.
- Experience with developing and testing solutions using Groovy.
- Good understanding of key coding principles to ensure quality solutions.
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban, XP etc).
- Experience using issue-tracking and bug-tracking tools (Jira or similar).
