Pricing Analyst Specialist
FUNCTION OF POSITION
Develops and executes the Aerospace & Technology cost analysis process to achieve key business
objectives; develops, maintains, and advances pricing approaches and methodologies in alignment with
the organization’s strategic business plan.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyzes solicitation requirements to develop and effectively communicate compliant pricing strategies consistent with the goals and objectives established by proposal and business executives.
• Leads the preparation of high-quality cost proposals; advocating necessary improvements and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Truth-in-Negotiation (TINA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), applicable Cost Disclosure Statement (CDS), and all relevant RFP forms, representations, certifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to ensure Estimating System and DCMA/DCAA regulatory compliance, as well as to streamline the interface with operations.
• Acts as the primary interface with DCAA/DCMA during proposal and cost estimating system audits, supporting customer evaluation/fact-finding, and negotiations.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth-in-Negotiation Act (TINA), Fair Labor
• Standards Act (FLSA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), DCMA and DCAA auditing principles.
• Familiarity with pricing requirements for a variety of contract vehicles (e.g., Labor Hour, Cost Plus, Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price).
• Interface with subcontractor partners to communicate pricing strategy, procurement requirements, and instructions for a timely and compliant subcontractor pricing submission.
• Advances and fosters positive team and client relationships.
• May be responsible for resource allocation, productivity, expense levels, and asset management.
• May provide leadership for other Pricing Analysts and/or proposal team personnel.
• Implements quality, safety, and BeyondZero program to promote an incident and injury free culture

Education and Experience: BS/BA degree and eight (8) years related experience; additional
education may be substituted for experience.
• Technical: Must possess a full understanding with working knowledge of the complete cost analysis process.  Additionally, candidate must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel, and demonstrated leadership skills, as evidenced by prior supervisory experience.
• Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and other languages, as applicable)
• Other: Work may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice.  Must be willing and able to travel.
• Minimum of a Secret Clearance required.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a desk (90%). Requires sitting at a computer terminal for long periods of time (90%). There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work area walking moderate to long distances can sometimes be required.
Work Environment
Inside office/cubicle environment. Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers and all levels of management (100%).
Equipment and Machines
Requires ability to operate a personal computer, a telephone, copier, and other general office equipment (100%). Ability to conduct evaluation of third and fourth generation or current state of the art computer hardware and software and its ability to support specific requirements, interfacing with other equipment and systems.
Attendance
Attendance is critical. Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Being prompt is important to provide continuous and on-going service to customers. Attendance is important to maintain continuity of service. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice. Overtime is infrequent, but important when required (1%).
Other Essential Functions
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be able to obtain unescorted access to work areas. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
