Full Job Description Job Title: Bulk Loader
Location: Detroit, MI.
Schedule: 1st shift
Starting pay: $17.00
Position Summary:
As part of an award winning team in the logistics industry, you will comply with government regulations (EPA, FRA and OSHA) and company recognized standards while safely performing the transfers of hazardous and non-hazardous products of railroad and trucking tank cars.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
• Climbing to heights of between 15 to 20 feet to perform inspections on top
• Operate various types of mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to change oil, starters, batteries, and clutches
• Prepare products for transferring, such as heating, sparging, and sampling
• Perform housekeeping duties as required by Management
What's Required:
• High School Diploma/GED or Ability
• Safety first mentality
• Mechanical ability a plus
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Able to meet attendance requirements
• A team work, can do attitude and willing to learn
• Valid state driver's license
