Human Resources Generalist
SMCI Is seeking an exceptional person for an amazing client partner. The ideal candidate will be someone that is experienced in employee relations, recruiting, and payroll coming into this role. As a point to note, this team is not huge for size, so a couple hats may be needed along the path of success.

Human Resources Generalist position will be responsible for supporting associates and collaborating with team members on recruiting, onboarding, payroll, training, performance management, and benefits administration. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional with a comprehensive background in HR to serve as an ambassador of our collaborative culture and support a team of associates at 19 locations nationwide.
Responsibilities
• Represent the companys mission and values
• Act as a primary HR interface with associates and guide the organization on policies and procedures
• Assist in recruiting for open positions including sourcing and screening candidates
• Manage semi-monthly payroll processing and related activities
• Support benefits administration
• Participate in development of departmental goals and objectives
• Maintain department records and reports
• Develop relationships with benefit, staffing, software, and other vendors
• Draft company-wide communications and revise documentation
• Remain current with changes in best practices and regulations applicable to the role
• Support a strong and collaborative work environment
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent; PHR or HRCI certification strongly preferred
• 5+ years of professional-level human resources experience with a minimum of 3 years at a generalist level
• 3+ years of experience processing payroll
• Advanced computer proficiency including MS Office. ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration with the ability to objectively coach employees and manage through complex situations
• The aptitude to research and analyze various types of data for specific information and compile reports
• Must be able to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with our company values, policies, procedures, and compliance
• Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize work well
