Position Title:              D365 Delivery Manager (CE)
Reports to:                  Global Director, ERP Delivery
Location:                     NA – Tampa, FL
Job Summary:
Delivery manager for D365 will oversee all aspects of the operations related activity needed in CE and F&O projects at . This individual will be responsible for production support, release management, user management, deployment planning/scheduling/execution and upgrades for Client's IT’s D365 suites of products. This person must be a great communicator and should be able to work side by side with other team members of D365 teams including consultants globally. This role requires someone who is hands on and can manage global technical teams and have good knowledge of products configuration, technical architecture, deployment and release management. This role will lead the automation of the deployment processes using different toolset available through Microsoft and third-party vendors. This role will assume the responsibility of 24X7 D365 CE/F&O support and define/implement processes/KPIs for support organization.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ Years of technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics products including D365 CE and AX 2012/D365 F&O.
• 3+ years of working as lead or manager of Operations & Delivery for Microsoft Dynamics Suite.
• 5+ years of experience in release management and deployment of Dynamics products.
• 3+ years of experience of managing and mentoring technical teams
• Expert knowledge of different technology stack used in Dynamics products like Azure, DevOps, X++, PowerShell, SQL database, .NET, Javascripts, Visual studio, code packages and deployment tools.
• Expert knowledge of release code management and managing different code branches for release.
• Expert in being liaison between IT Dev Managers, Functional consultants, IT Support Managers and Business users.
• Experience working in Global manufacturing firm is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day to day operations and production support 24X7 of D365 environment
• Manage deployment and releases of D365 product portfolio working with different internal/external teams for planning and execution.
• Define and implement release management processes for D365 products. Work extensively with Azure DevOps for streamlining release processes.
• Define and automate deployment processes for D365 products.
• Manage multiple releases and deployments in global landscape.
• Define clear schedule of the code deployments, product release and updates.
• Participate in product enhancement/change requests discussions and bring in expertise of D365 operations area.
• Work with Infrastructure team to manage Azure environments for D365 products.
• Participate in weekly D365 PMO for updates on release and deployments.
• Lead team of technical members and vendor resources to provide round the clock support needed for D365 products for releases.
• Good team player and able to work flexible hours in different time zones including weekends.
