We're expanding! Swedish Match North America LLC, a manufacturer and marketer of well-known tobacco products, non-tobacco ZYN pouch products, as well as complementary products, is currently seeking a Service Manager U.S. for our Group IT Business Application Services department at the Owensboro, KY facility.
The successful candidate will take ownership for application services throughout the lifecycle from service introduction, through enhancement and maintenance, to decommissioning.
Major Responsibilities:
• Serve as point of contact and lead collaboration among business stakeholders and colleagues across Group IT to evaluate ideas and define solutions to needs.
• Drive the Service Teams.
• Ensure robust, performance optimized, efficient, scalable, reusable, secure and value adding designs to fulfill solution requirements.
• Contribute to sourcing new services and suppliers.
• Build and manage relationships with and follow-up on deliveries from companies that supply products and service to Swedish Match.
Requirements
Education: Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent training/experience.
Experience: Must have at least 3 years' experience in a relevant position, and at least 5 years' work experience.
Skills/Knowledge: Broad experience from the IT industry and understanding of technologies is required. Must possess strong leadership skills, ownership of responsibilities, and be value and result driven. Requires a strong influence from modern ways of working with IT, and must be able to collaborate with Group IT colleagues, business colleagues and vendors to promote team work.
