Job Responsibilities: Perform a variety of very repetitive physical tasks while learning the complex transportation routine and responsibilities of a local delivery route driver. Train in utilizing a handheld computer to issue invoices and complete necessary paperwork as well as balancing deposits collected. Comply with the Anheuser-Busch Equity Agreement & Standard Sales policies as it relates to the born on date program, ensuring product quality and freshness.
Maintain merchandising standards and communicate professionally with all customers and co-workers while assisting delivery partners and account managers with support services to enhance the marketing and consumer awareness of all Standard Sales products.
Preferred Class A Commercial Driver's License permit or valid commercial driver's license. If a permit or license needs to be obtained, trainee is required to earn their Class A permit within 90 days of hire and work towards obtaining a Class A commercial driver's license within one year.
High School or equivalent education minimum. Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. Ability to safely operate a vehicle and equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk, push/pull, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to lift 30-160lbs.
The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and bend. Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screenings, physical and have a clean Motor Vehicle record.
