Reports to:  Loading Supervisor Basic summary of the job: Load orders on trucks with the use of forklifts, overhead crane, or by hand  Essential (primary) functions include but are not limited to:Load trucks in a safe and timely manner.  Ensure that all orders are banded or wired.Complete first article process on all ordersDrive tractor trailers on company propertyLoad each truck in sequence of its stops for off loading at each destination·         Adhere to the Quality Policy at all times.Must be trained in all Quality procedures relating to specific job assignment Required education/work experience: High school diploma/GED preferredPrevious warehouse experience with forklift and overhead cranes preferred Necessary (required) skills:Must know how to read tape measure accuratelyGood basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions and decimalsAbility to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously PHYSICAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and apply all motor functions in order to perform the job.  May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.  Requires climbing up and down ladders to get on and off trailers numerous times a night.  Employment Type: OTHER
