Description:
This role is for an experienced IT cyber security individual who can work in a fast-paced, service-oriented IT cyber security team.
You will be required to work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to identify and resolve security events. You will interact with the service desk, client service staff, system engineers, program managers, architects, and senior IT leadership with the utmost professionalism. You will be required to work independently and collectively on adhoc security investigations that may turn into incident response actions. Creative and out of the box thinking to ensure security controls are met while supporting business objectives.
Qualifications:
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be a US Citizen
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and O365 cloud environments
Ability to work on many concurrent, and changing, priorities
Action-oriented and able to manage and meet aggressive timelines and deadlines.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and NIST SP 800-53
Must have experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data monitoring, and/or sensitivity labeling
Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, and Teams
Demonstrated ability to learn and document new technologies/solutions
Experience documenting processes and procedures to comply with required NIST and IT standards
Working experience of Incident Response
Experience in HiTRUST, GDRP, CUI, and other protection types
Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, OneDrive), and an understanding of Cloud computing is preferred
Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
Experience working in an ITIL environment is a plus
