Full Job Description Looking for a cabinet delivery/truck driver and Warehouse worker to join our team! You will drive to deliver and pick up goods and packages. Warehouse work including moving boxes, loading and unloading kitchen cabinets, assembling cabinets, fulfilling parts list, making deliveries, using a forklift. Do different tasks every day instead of the same thing all day long.
This position is full-time. Some overtime is required.
Familiarity with construction, woodworking, or cabinet construction techniques a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Help to load and secure cabinet orders onto the delivery truck based on the schedule provided.
• Make sure all the items listed on the paperwork are loaded and checked off.
• We are required to properly handle each package with gentle care, causing no damages.
• Some sites require you to carry the cabinets upstairs, and through rough terrain into a home or job site.
• Must be a team player, willing to receive constructive criticism, willing to learn, and must know the value of respect.
• Load and unload the vehicle.
• Assist with order pulling as needed.
• Inspect and monitor the delivery vehicles.
• Responsibilities will require hard work in a warehouse so during the summer months it can get hot.
• There also will be requirements to help in the shop, office, and clean up around the property as well.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-minded, excellent problem-solving skills, lift and carry the weight of cabinetry and associated tools and products. The ability to work independently and efficiently independent.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed or as directed by Management.
• Keep the Warehouse clean of debris and work hazards.
• Comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 100 lbs.
• Deadline-oriented.
Pay Comments:
The delivery team pay ranges from $10-12/ per hour depending on experience and job duty. Employees have a high potential of increasing wages by learning quickly and demonstrating a strong work ethic with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and support for team members.
Schedule:
• 8-hour shift.
• Day shift.
• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime.
