Full Job Description INTAKE SPECIALIST
Richardson TX
Meier Clinics, a non-profit Christian mental health counseling ministry, is seeking a full-time Intake Specialist for our busy Outpatient Clinic. This is an entry-level position with potential for growth. If you are interested in establishing a career and desire to be a part of a team that is helping people find hope and healing, this may be what you are looking for.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Previous experience in a medical/mental health setting preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Job Responsibilities:
• Responding to calls and making recommendations for appropriate levels of care
• Helping new clients through the intake process with compassion/professionalism
• Assisting clients with scheduling appointments
• Working with other staff to assure smooth operations and quality service
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
